- Describe yourself as a designer and as a person. What is the main difference between both descriptions?

- My job is my life and the other way around. I don’t have the luxury to split in two. But that is okay since my work is very personal. It goes hand in hand with who I am. But there is still a main difference. One Julian Zigerli is a real person who cares about the good things in life. The other one is still “just” work.

- Both individually and as designers we believe in fierce attention to detail and quality. We are guilty of designing for ourselves as well as our customer and so you see a lot of us reflected in the collection. Chris & Tibor is a brand for the modern man who’s fast paced lifestyle demands practicality and distinctive yet understated style. We have created the guys perfect accessory.

- What is the story behind the brand’s name and does it have a special personal meaning for you?

- We didn’t need long meetings to decide a name for our project: it was very natural and spontaneous. Breakfast is a very important moment in our day, a moment we share with the ones we love the most, friends and co-workers. The meal we mostly love to eat. It is the moment we enjoy but at the same time the moment we take important decisions in our brand’s organization. We met and decided to build our brand during one of these long business breakfasts and so we decided to match our passion for fashion and our passion for breakfast.

- My name is Ragne Kikas. I am a knitwear designer from Estonia, but I live and work in Hamburg, Germany. I graduated a month ago from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (aka. HAW Hamburg; Master’s degree in fashion design).
