- Describe yourself as a person and as a designer.
What are the main differences between both descriptions?
- There are no substantial differences. The designer and the person overlap because I express myself through my work.
Perhaps the only difference is perceived by my friends. I am very serious and meticulous when I work. With them I am the opposite...

- What was your first created item you where proud of?
- The neon sandals. Even now I still remain enchanted when I look at them.

- Where do you seek for inspiration?
- You can find inspiration everywhere: by looking at a chandelier, or a monument, a leaf or the neckline of a dress. There are no limits!

- Do you have some special rituals before you start to create?
- Not exactly. But I certainly start listening to my favourite songs.

- What are the basic values for you as for designer?
- Knowledge of the product and therefore of the technique. This is essential.
Knowing how to draw. It is not essential but it helps a lot in expressing your ideas.
Knowing the market. A degree in economics helps.

- The best think being a designer?
- Create an object which, with a little bit of luck, can excite various people.

- Why do you choose to create shoes for women?
My family’s history has its roots embedded in women’s footwear. I do not, however, rule out the possibility of a change in sector in the future. Yacht design perhaps.

- If you have share the ideal portrait of your client.
- A person with good taste and elegant. One who does not like to be the centre of attention, unless when wearing the neon sandals.

- Recently you are creating in Italy. Do you feel that Italy influenced your creation?
- In Rome, but more generally in Italy, my gaze almost always falls on something beautiful. It could be a monument or a landscape. We are born with the idea of beauty in our heart. What more of an influence can there be? ...

- Your label is very young. Do you need to march and fight to get everyone’s attention?
- Certainly. The market is very competitive. Nowadays there are great and small stylists. The latter find difficulty in advancing forward because they are not supported by the institutions. Except in rare cases, such as the “Who is On Next” competition.

- If you can name it what is your biggest achievement in your young career?
- A big professional disappointment every “other day”. You raise yourself up again and realise how strong your passion is for what you are doing.

- Future plans, dream collaborations and hopes?
- I would like to open a design studio and work with young people in a happy and respectful atmosphere.

  1. Wow, cool post. I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real hard work to make a great article... but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though. Formal and Casual Shoe Pakistan
